This week in one of my classes. we were given a pretty open assignment - get outside and choot something. There were a few specifics my professor asked for such as using natural light and only using manual focus. These photos were all taken in the port jeff/stony brook areas. The bee photo was taken using a screw on macro adapter, which was a little tricky to use with a moving subject, so the one good shot was out of pure luck. The egg is real, I came across the nest walking through the woods - but of course I left it be and just photographed it. I promise, no animals were harmed in this photoshoot!
